Savage Oppress has got to be one of my favorite Sith of all time. He's freaking sweet looking and he owns ass like no one ever before. Just wondering where the Star Wars people will take his story...

Yeah. There's enough of me to go around.
And I wouldn't be... interested... that way in a guy who was younger than me anyway.

You should become a Star Wars historian or something...
I used to be an admin on Wookiepedia but I lost interest and deleted my account. I'm an admin on mulitiple Star Wars fan fiction sites though and give advice for stories and whatnot.
Anyway... He was wise and smart, unlike most of the Sith. And I respect him. Because he was building an Empire of his own, just so that he could battle the True Sith.
Yes. He was one of the most magnificent military leaders the galaxy would ever know. But he was still Sith... despite his intentions to save the galaxy. After all, who wants to rule a galaxy if some dark force emerging from the Unknown Regions destroys it all eh?
Revan is not a True Sith because he had the chance to destroy the jedi and the republic with the help of the Star Forge but turned his back on the Sith to go chase a unknown enemy. So in other words he or she did not have the will power to become a True Sith and land the death blow that everyother True Sith would do in a heart beat.
Ummm... no. Sure Revan wasn't a True Sith but he did intend to completely conquer the Republic and crush the Jedi. And he would have. His plan was cut short by a little betrayal by Malak. Or have you both forgotten that already?
And bingo! That was my point. He was not like the other Sith
Sure Revan wasn't like any of the other previously known Sith but -as I said above -he was still Sith nonetheless.
Then you are right and Revan was more on the lightside then he was on the Darkside.
Yes and yet no at the same time.
And that makes him the most interesting Jedi/Sith in Star Wars Universe
Certainly. Even better than Darth Vader. Though you have to admit Savage Oppress is much more awesome looking.

Re: change of heart (118 replies, posted in The Dark Side)
You're looking at the beginning of Revan's war dear. Look towards the end. He wanted a Sith Empire.
"Revan knew that, with Jedi in the war, this contest would come down to whoever had the most and strongest Jedi. He pioneered new Sith tactics relying on secrecy rather than brute force. His Sith assassins quietly flooded into the Republic to kill and/or abduct Jedi throughout known space. Revan reestablished strongholds and academies upon worlds of ancient power such as Lehon, Dxun, and Korriban. On these particular planets, his most faithful servants broke captured Jedi and converted them to the dark side. Revan also kidnapped some of his own Force-sensitive troops and converted them into Dark Jedi. Utilizing assassin droids—such as HK-47, whom Revan created after the Battle of Malachor V—Revan eliminated threats to the stability of his fledgling Sith Empire."
Turning Jedi to the darkside doesn't sound like he's trying to strengthen the Republic does it? He wanted to bring it to its knees and help it embrace the new Sith Empire it was meant to join. Read the books. They're better than anything wookiepedia can give you.

Re: change of heart (118 replies, posted in The Dark Side)
No I'm not. I read all the KotOR books and I know what I read.
As such, he could begin his rule with a relatively functional military and economy rather than starting from scratch.
That may be the only real reason Revan didn't completely annihilate the Republic. It's what most conquerors do. Look at Napoleon, Alexander the Great, and the likes.
He believed the end result would be much the same: a stronger Republic, more capable of defending itself.
In the beginning Revan did want to stop the True Sith. Towards the end of the war he kept some of his humanity and wanted to strengthen the Republic should he fail but it's just like the Mandalorians. If he lost he would have come back and hit harder.
But Revan didn't intend to lose...
