Hey George. I think you'll have to create a new password anyway because there was a hacker on here a while back and all the passwords had to be reset when Revan fixed it.

but anyways, welcome back cool

So far the book TFU II is very similar to the Empire Strikes Back. They can't seem to get away from this very basic plot, and even use the same characters. Confused Jedi goes to Dagobaa, sees visions of pain, runs to help, those he tries to help are captured (by Boba Fett, wow, surprise!) and taken to Darth Vader to use as bait to lure young Jedi hither...

Where is the originality here?

People have said both of these games were too short. Why are the game makers doing that? In my opinion, no Star Wars first person game has yet lived up to Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

(KOTOR is a different class so I don't include that in this statement)

There is a strategy that you have to figure out. It was very hard the first time I tried, then it got easier. You have to stock up on grenades, and make sure at least one character has high Force points that won't be depleted quickly. I usually fight this as a smuggler/consular class with Lightside Mastery, so that Light Side defensive powers are very low cost. This helps out a lot. You also don't need to rush this level. Giver yourself time to regroup and regain life/force points before advancing to different sections and taking on more enemies. What makes this hard is the shear number of assailants that you have to face, particularly dark Jedi. But these Sith underlings are usually weak, unlike the dark Jedi in advanced levels of games like Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

I believe that this works for Xbox, but you have to have a mod for PC

I've beaten it both ways. Your character is more exposed to attack with a sword, but can hold his own usually.

In that moment, Vector knew what he had to do. He fixed Sara with his eyes, and spoke into her mind...

"I love you Sara"

Then it happened...

Lightening coursed through his whole body, flowing from the very center of his being into Rane's body. The sheer power of force lightening crackled in the air around them. It was not a Jedi technique. His former masters had warned him of using this attack. But it was the one that Rane was least likely to expect.

"More, more..." he thought, grinding his teeth together.

Blinding white bolts arced all around them, scorching the floor and walls of the building. The pain was excruciating, but he focused only one thing...

Sara...

Yi'shar spins his lightsaber, eyeing his opponent. This Sith was like none other he had faced. He doubted that he could truly even be called a Sith. This was some fallen follower of another cult devoted to the darkside. And to death.

It is a good thing I'm not a Jedi anymore, he thought to himself.

He had something in common with this strange being before him. Neither of them belonged to the Order commonly associated with their respective sides of the Force. Yi'shar had been a Jedi at one time. The Order had cast him out over some of his controversial teachings. He had found another brotherhood, one that fought for the same freedoms but with a different set of rules.

Fortunately for him now, for their training and disciplines had prepared him to meet this enemy better than any Jedi technique had.

The whole ship pulsed with life...the Force ebbing and flowing through every hallway, every airlock and chamber. Yi'shar gathered the Force around him, drawing it to himself, swelling with energy and power, drinking in the life around him.

He was a warrior.

He was light itself.

The green light from his saber blazed brightly as he neared his opponent. His eyes glowed with energy. He felt the Force almost lifting him off the ground in anticipation of attack.

"Let her go," he said slowly, calmly.

...Meanwhile...

Jason and Col. Norad finished making their report, and now stood in the hallway outside of the Fleet Command Center, both stunned.

"General!" Norad said. "In all my wildest dreams, I would never have expected that."

"I'm just glad they kept me in a fighter and didn't put me on a bridge post," laughed Jason.

"How does it feel to have the whole fleet to pick from for a new squadron, though?" asked an aid that was escorting them.

"Ha! I already know who half of them will be!" he replied. "Well, General Norad, I guess I'll see you at the Republic Halo point. Try not to do anything too stupid between now and then sir. Wouldn't want you to be promoted to Admiral too soon now would we?"

"You just worry about getting your squad together." Norad replied. "We'll need men every bit as good as you if not better if we hope to have any chance against Revan."

...Meanwhile...

The Jedi council sat for hours in council. Kavar was still absent, meeting with the Kovasn informants. Several Council Masters had been murdered in the night. Revan and Malak falling to the ways of their enemies, the Sith.

"What else could go wrong?" Master Vrook had said.

I need to rearrange where my characters are. They are both in fighters near Ra, and are trying to help the transports escape.

----------------------------

A handful of ships make their way through the now scorched atmosphere of Serreco and into space. As Basilisk droids converge on them like a pack of kinraths, Kade and Jason pilot their small fighters on an intercept course, trying desperately to give the transports enough time to calculate their jumps to hyperspace.

Some make it...

Others are not so fortunate...

Another explosion sends shockwaves through Jason's craft as the transport beside him bursts apart, sending air and crew screaming silently into cold space.  An outburst of near rage escapes his lips before he can check himself. Fortunately his VOX was not activated. He wouldn't want Ra or Kade to hear him break from his Jedi training.

Two more ships were left, and the Mandalorians were swarming them like flies on a dead carcass.

"Kade, watch that formation above you!" he said. His quad laser canon flashed and another basilisk broke apart in a shower of sparks. "They're almost ready to jump. Ra and Kade, set a rendezvous point near Vanquo and the Republic defense line. Get there as soon as you can."

He looked at the ship where Skye had landed.

"I'm sorry," he thought. "I can't help you that way. Not now"
