Sweat was beading down Mira’s forehead as she set her sights on her new target. This time, she was hunting a dangerous criminal known as Arshaunt Kreomis. He was a being whose race was unknown since he wore a big, black cloak that had a dark hood which covered his face. The kicker was that he never spoke, making it damn near impossible to tell his species. Only his victims knew his species, for he revealed himself to them shortly before he killed them. Suddenly, he turned around and saw Mira. Damn! He saw me! She quickly darted around the corner to hide her identity. She was well known around these parts as the best bounty hunter on Nar Shaddaa. That’s not bragging; it was a fact.

Slowly creeping around the corner, she looked at Arshaunt. He was still looking over at her. She slowly and carefully aimed her blaster at him…until she saw a red dot on her chest. She quickly looked over at him. He was holding a sniper rifle! And it was aimed right at her! “Damn. I’d better be careful.” she told herself. She went back around the corner, blaster in hand. She heard his footsteps approach rapidly. “This is my chance to claim this bounty before…” She couldn’t finish saying it. She already heard HIM. Hanharr had arrived on the scene. He was approaching Arshaunt, rykk blades in hand. “You will go nowhere, filthy human trash!” he said, speaking in his Wookiee language. “I am not human, you pathetic excuse for a bounty hunter!” Arshaunt told Hanharr. This enraged the Wookiee, for he began slicing away at the criminal.

“You keep missing, Wookiee slave!” Arshaunt taunted Hanharr. “WHAT DID YOU CALL ME?!?” Hanharr roared at him. “You heard me. I called you a–” “DON’T SAY IT!” Hanharr kept slicing away at him furiously. Mira was listening to the whole thing from behind the corner. She heard how Arshaunt’s voice was cold and icy sounding. She heard the ferocity and hate in Hanharr’s voice. I sure hope he doesn’t find out I’m here! Then, she heard it. A sound so sickening that it wouldn’t be forgotten soon: The sound of Arshaunt’s flesh being rended so violently and without pause. “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” the criminal screamed. The blood was spattering everywhere. She heard as it flew onto the walls and the ground. “Mercy! Please! Mer–” The criminal’s cry for mercy was cut off when his head was. Mira heard the sickening thud of the head as it hit the ground. Hanharr let out a victory roar. “Now, to get his head!” the Wookiee exclaimed. “We shall see what species this prey really was!” Removing the bit of hood that remained on the decapitated head, he saw that the being was, indeed, a human, as he had suspected.

“Since I’m here, little girl, I think I’ll play with you for a bit!” Mira’s heart dropped. He HAD smelled her! Acting fast, she told him, “Not this time, Hanharr!” She shot him once, which distracted him and caused him to close his eyes. Running as fast as she could, she gathered Arshaunt’s head and ran away from Hanharr. “I will get you for this, little girl!” Hanharr roared at her. Mira was exhausted when she finally stopped running. She had had a good hunt, although it hadn’t turned out quite the way she had expected it to.

Skip forward a few weeks. The Exile and her crew land on Nar Shaddaa and meet Mira. She eventually joins their crew. In the Unknown Regions, Arden is dealing with some things that he had set out to silence. No one has heard from him since he left. As the Ebon Hawk sets out for Onderon, we journey to the Unknown Regions to see what Arden has been up to…
