My head hurts was the first thought that came through as Jade had as she sat up. “Careful” a deep voice said as gentle hands helped her sit up. Whiskey color eyes stared back at her. Hmmm well hello she thought. But the words that came out were of her mouth were “who the heck are you and where am I? ” Laughter then “that bump on the head must have scrambled your brains harder then I thought. I’m Carth Onassi. We were on the Endar Spire”. “Oh yeah know I remember. “I’m Jade Star” “So we crashed?” “Hmm yeah yep you were hurt but luckily I wasn’t. We are safe for now.” Now? she thought. “Where are we?” “Taris and it’s under Sith blockade.” “Oh not good” another laugh escaped him. Something made her think he doesn’t do that enough. laugh. She took a good look at him. Mid 30 ish in good shape. handsome if he didn’t look so somber. But those whiskey colored eyes seem to see right through her and held a wealth of pain. Yeah she knew the feeling. “So umm what now?” “Now, now we find Bastila.”  “Ah yes the cocky Jedi. ”You know her?” Yes briefly before I left the Jedi academy.” “ You were a Jedi?” “yes that’s a long story OK?” “Ok” So what’s the plan Mister Onassi. More laughter “Mister Onassi?” his eyebrow raised. “Man I feel old all the sudden.” Umm she could feel the blush rushing to my cheeks sigh MEN.”Carth?” “Yeah that’s better. So we scout.” Gee fun, fun especially with Sith floating around. Couple hours later and the feeling of her head floating. She caved “ok superman you might be, but Carth my head is killing me.” “Oh umm sorry.” he looked sheepish. She laid back and closed her eyes.

Women he thought as she rested how the heck did they mange to make you feel so stupid. Feisty one this one is though. And attractive umm not that he noticed umm nope not a chance yeah right. He watched her sleep not understanding why he thought her fascinating. Yes she was attractive high cheekbones, beautiful eyes that flashed all she was feeling and great laugh umm the body wasn’t so bad either. Nope not that he noticed ha sure right. Something tells me this is going to very, very interesting. He thought to him self

She was having another nightmare. They had been here for two days and she had them often. As usual he wanted to get up and comfort her but didn’t. He leaned back and bed and reflected on the last 2 days. They had come far and she had been a huge help with her wealth of knowledge on languages and such. Although she was persistent about knowing him and some of the fights had been interesting. I just don’ trust anybody and if you were smart you wouldn’t either he could remember yelling at her one time. Another time.” Oh so you want to fight again?” and her “oh I’m always up for a good fight” was her smooth as silk response, Dang women was getting under his skin and it scared/ intrigued him at the same time. He thought back on how she had risked her life to get that cure to the doctor for Rakghoul disease. Tomorrow they’d go down in the sewers with Mission. A young twelek they had meet yesterday evening. She joined them promising to get them into the Black Vuklars base if the helped rescue Zaalbar her wookie friend. Smart mouth thing man. Old man my butt and then there was that smirk on Jades’ face after Mission said it. Old man I’ll show you old man I thought while starting at her. No must not go there this attraction between him and Jade was growing and it was kinda pissing him off. Sigh tomorrows another day.

Jade was tempted to throw water at him. He was beginning stubborn and not waking up blasted pilot She looked at Mission “Men” she growled causing the young twelek to laugh. So what to do . A mischievous smile broke out. She careful walked up to and started tickling him. With a grunt he grabbed her and pined her under him. Umm whoa that was so not what was suppose to happen. “Umm Mission help.” “Oh no you got your self there now get your self out” she said laughing then left the room un-friggen believable I’m going to kill her. Ok now what. Dang him why did he have to smell good and hmm sigh be so fit? Ok wiggle room here. Um just a little bit father almost there Then he grabbed her again and then this time wrapped him self around her “hmmm” he sighed as he breaths deeply against her neck. “you smell good Mo.” Mo WHO THE HECK IS Mo??? Ok now she was pissed, she flipped him and he blinks up and at her, “Jerk. I’m not Mo” “umm” he blushes “no, no your not.” “wake up fly-boy” and she stalked off.

Several thoughts when through Carths’ head as he tried to wake up. He really had been in a deep sleep and a soft warm body hand been under him when he was in the stage between awake and asleep. He could still feel her and smell her. Dang it he growled in his throat. He saw the hurt she had tried to hide as she walked off with stream coming out of her ears. What about her reminded him so much of Mo? He got ready fast and walked out the room. Jade wouldn’t look at him and Mission was trying hard not to laugh, “OK so lets got get fur-ball.” He said knowing it would push the smirking tweleks buttons, but before she could get going Jade said calmly chill Miss he’s doing on purpose. She wouldn’t look at him and for some reason it hurt. Dang it.

After a full day of searching the sewers and getting attack by the gamorreans. Jade was at the end of her rope she hurt she smelled and she was still ticked at Carth. Who was busy playing superman one minute and frost man the next. Finally just as she was ready to snap the door she opened to revealed a very ticked Wookie. “Yes” Mission yelled as she ran to him. “Your alive, your safe.” As Mission explained what had happen the last day or so. Zaalbar looked at her. “I owe you a life debt” he said very seriously. Now Jade didn’t know much about Wookies, but between what she did know and what Mission was rambling about she got it was a big deal for him. So humbly she accepted. “So now what?” the excited twelek said. “A bath and good night sleep.” Jade sighed “and then the Black Vulkars’ base for the prototype for the hidden becks.”

Oh man I hurt and *sniff* smell bad a bath yes, Jade was thinking. Were could I get one then she remembered one of the rooms in the upper apartments of that guy they helped. He had a nice bath set up and had said they could use it if they wanted. So off they went with out Zaalbar. The wookie hated baths. The Ithorian was there and smiled when he saw them. “Let me guess you want to use my bath.” “Gee what gave that away” Jade said laughing “the stench that is floating around us so thick people are running from us?” Jade hadn’t had a bath since being on the Endar Spire. So she intended to enjoy this one. She stepped out of the bath quite a while later. Carth and Mission looked up. “I’m next!” the twelek screaming running for the bath. As Jade walked around gathering stuff she noticed Carth watching her closely. “What!” she said testy. There was something about his stare that was causing her skin to tingle. He blushed “nothing you just clean up good.” “Oh really? His blush came in redder. “Never mind” as he forced him self to look away.

IDIOT did I just say what I think I did? Carth thought to him self. Sigh you clean up good? Geeeesh what a idiot. Dang this blush. Man was that an understatement. She was beautiful and he was noticing too much about her. She wasn’t Mo no one was Mo so why the heck was he starting to want her? Mission came out feeling much cleaner and noticed the tension in the room was thick enough to cut with a knife. “It’s all yours old man.” Carth just smirked and walk into the bath. “What’s up Jade?” “Nothing just Carth being Carth and irritating me .” Mission laugh “yeah to bad he’s cute when he’s not.” “ yeah” Jade said blushing

The next couple hours were heck on wheels. They broke into the Blacks base and got the prototype and headed back to the Hidden Becks. “So now what?” Jade asked the leader. “Now you ride the swoop bike and get back Bastila.” “Me” squeaked Jade “I hate swoop bikes,” Mission laughed “why?” “Cause they crash ugly.” Carth looked at the leader “It’s too dangerous she doesn’t know what’s she’s doing. “ Which ticked Jade off. “Oh fly boy yes I do I just don’t like doing it. So when do we go tomorrow?” she asked the leader “Yep bright and early.” “ I don’t like this” Carth whispered “too bad your not my care taker” “no” he growled “but you sure as heck need one.” “Why you volunteering Carth?” She said and blew him a kiss as she walked off. “Dam just dam” Carth said to no one in particular.

Next day Jade left and when to the swoop race which by the grace of the force she won and just as she was about to get Bastila the Vulkar tried to keep the prize. A fight broke out and Bastila broke the hold they had on her. Between the Jade and Bastila the Vuklars stood no chance. After a brief argument between her and the jedi. Jade ended it before she lost her temper at Bastila they went to the hide out. Carth was glad to see Bastila, but became upset when Bastila started berating Jade. “A leader doesn’t put down her troops when things don’t go her way Bastila and you know it.” Bastila stared at Jade “no I guess not. I’m sorry.”
It’s ok so now we need to find a way off. The force is a weird thing because just as Jade said it a messenger from a Mandalorian named Canderous knocked on their door.

The Next two days went by painfully. Bastila, Carth and Jade had to break into the Sith base and get the launch codes. Several dark Jedi’s and nasty robots and Jade was ready to scream. Finally with the launch codes and hand. Canderous was willing to take them to Darvik. Carth followed “I’m coming I don’t trust you Canderous , Jade you need me to cover your back.” “Fine” Jade said wearily. Once there Darvik asked them to stay as his guest and they found them selves locked in the room for the night. In the morning after a bad nights sleep Jade cracked the code on the door and they were out. Exploring the hidden base Carth and Canderous bickered back in forth like two boys trying to get the girls attention and it started to get on Jades nerves. Canderous was saying he was a proud warrior and Carth was saying there’s was nothing proud about being a warrior he was a solider and soldiers protect innocents usual against warriors. They were opening doors and getting snappy. When a door opened to a couple of attractive male slaves. They looked at Jade. “Is there something we can do for you?” They asked smiling. Jade blushed “um no we are just lost.” “You sure one?” of the older ones asked “you look like you could use a good massage.” Jade laughed and blushed harder “yeah I could but…” The Slave took her arm before she could finish and had her up on the table. Canderous was smirking and Carth looked ticked. “Um I really shouldn’t do this” she said to the slave. “Oh please let me it’s not ever day Davik has such a beautiful lady here for me to practice on and your in pain.” Jade looked at Carth and a mischievous looked entered her eyes she turned her back to the guys slipped off her shirt and laid down. This brought a groan from Carth and a laugh from Canderous the slave took his time smiling as he enjoyed it. Finally Carth snapped “ok, ok we really don’t have time for this.” Jade laughed and put her shirt on hopped off the table and kissed the slave on the cheek “thanks?..” “Jason you can all me Jason and any time!”

As she walked off Canderous looked at Carth “looking a little green there are we?” “Shut up” snapped Carth. Jade turned “are you to coming or not?” They finaly got to the room with the old Ebon Hawk Pilot who gave then the codes to the ship. They had to fight Darvick and Calo as the planet was being distoryed. They were able to get The others just in time the left the planet each watching as it was absolutely destroyed by the Sith. Suddenly the Sith pilot ships attacked them. Jade ran to the gun turrets and took them out. Mission laughed “liked that much did you?” Jade smile and said “what’s not to like the gun turrets a big powerful machine that vibrates between my legs any woman’s wet dream.” Carth choked so hard Mission thought he was going to collapse. The look he shot Jade would have melted metal she just smiled and strutted off.

They headed to Dantoonie after a heated argument between Bastila and Carth.
